Starting on August 15, China Southern Airlines will launch a direct flight from Guangzhou to Kashgar prefecture in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the first route of its kind in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).
Operated by Boeing 737-800, the route is scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Taking off at 8:00 from Kashgar Laining International Airport, the flight (CZ3360) will land at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport at 14:30. The return flight (CZ3359) will start at 15:45 and end at 22:20. The single-trip time is about 6.5 hours, the longest direct flight in China.

Among them, the Guangzhou-Kashgar flight is the fourth direct route, followed by Guangzhou to Urumchi, Altay, and Shenzhen to Urumchi.
