Recently, China's Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism unveiled a new batch of the National Base for International Cultural Trade. Two bases in Guangdong were included, ranking first in China.
The two bases vary in operation and management. Focusing on the foreign cultural and tourism trade under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement, the National Base for International Cultural Trade (Guangzhou) sets up five areas on the talent of foreign cultural and tourism trade, digital culture industry, cultural and creative products, cultural intelligent manufacturing, and games.

Meanwhile, with the platform of China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, the National Base for International Cultural Trade (Shenzhen) is promoting the export of traditional cultural industries such as jewelry, oil painting, and printing, as well as emerging cultural products and services including games and animation.

In recent years, Guangdong has supported the construction of these bases with related policies, funds, and so on. In the future, the province will continue to strengthen policy innovation and the management of the bases, nurture and introduce more talent in foreign cultural and tourism trade, and improve the service capacity of the bases.
