Starting from June 27, China Southern Airlines will launch a new direct route to Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Additionally, another direct route to Istanbul, Türkiye, will also be opened from June 28.
The Guangzhou-Budapest route will be operated by a Boeing 787-7 aircraft every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The flight (CZ649/650) will take off at 00:50 am (local time) from Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and arrive at Budapest Airport at 07:20 am (local time).
As one of the top tourist cities in Europe, Budapest boasts a wide variety of cultural heritage and stunning scenery. You can stroll along the Danube bank, enjoy the spectacular view of the Hungarian Parliament building, and explore the historic site of Buda Castle.
The Guangzhou-Istanbul route will be operated by CZ8065/8066 every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The best tourist season in Istanbul is from June to July. With moderate temperatures, you can fully explore top scenic spots like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Galata Tower.
The opening of new routes will greatly enrich the international flight network at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport and provide passengers worldwide with more convenient travel options to visit Guangzhou and the whole of South China.
