The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) (Huangpu) Game Industry Service Center was jointly established in Guangzhou on May 8 by the Huangpu District Press and Publication Bureau, Yuzhu Sub-district Office, Management Committee of Guangzhou Development District Huangpu Port-adjacent Economic Zone, Guangdong Game Industry Association, and Guangdong Dingtai Holding Co., Ltd.
The signing ceremony of the strategic cooperation agreement on the construction of the center was held in Huangpu District, Guangzhou on the same day. The five parties have reached a framework agreement to jointly build the center in the Manlin·ICH Industrial Park in Huangpu District through collaboration between the government and enterprise.
The center is located in the Yuzhu Area of the Guangzhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone, covering an area of over 8,000 square meters with a construction area of over 3,000 square meters. It has established a government service hall for the game industry, providing services such as research and development guidance, publishing review, operation supervision, and information release for game enterprises in the GBA.
According to the Huangpu government, the Yuzhu Area of the district has attracted nearly 100 game companies such as Si San Jiu Jiu, Kuyue, and Dalan. A game production industry chain, including research and development, production, and distribution, has been formed in the area.
