The exhibition "Flourishing Friendship" kicked off on August 1 at Guangzhou Library. It will last until August 31. It features 21 paintings created by 11 Filipino artists in Guangdong, depicting the scenery they visited and theordinary life in China through their delicate brushstrokes.

2022 marks the 47th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Philippines, and also the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the sister city relationship between Guangzhou and Manila, the capital of the Philippines.

Through these visual expressions, the exhibition aims to show the flourishing friendship between China and the Philippines, deepen cultural exchanges between the two countries, and further promote the development of Sino-Philippine relations.

There are also two supporting activities, the Painting Workshop, and the Portrait Experience, which, in a lively and fun way, invite the public to be actively involved in art.

In order to allow the public to experience the cultural journey of the Philippines without leaving Guangzhou, the exhibitionset up a special area for people to take photos and experience the exotic atmosphere.
